గణేశ ద్వాదశ నామ స్తోత్రం:



శుక్లాంబరధరం విష్ణుం శశివర్ణం చతుర్భుజం |
ప్రసన్నవదనం ధ్యాయేత్సర్వవిఘ్నోపశాంతయేః ‖ 1 ‖

I meditate upon Lord Vishnu, who is dressed in white garments, has a bright complexion like the moon, and has four arms. He has a pleasant face and is the remover of all obstacles.

అభీప్సితార్థ సిధ్యర్థం పూజితో యః సురాసురైః |
సర్వవిఘ్నహరస్తస్మై గణాధిపతయే నమః ‖ 2 ‖

I offer my salutations to the lord of the Ganas, who, when worshipped by the gods and demons seeking fulfillment of their desires, removes all obstacles.

గణానామధిపశ్చండో గజవక్త్రస్త్రిలోచనః |
ప్రసన్నో భవ మే నిత్యం వరదాతర్వినాయక ‖ 3 ‖

The leader of the ganas, with a fierce appearance, elephant-faced and three-eyed, be forever gracious to me, O Vinaayaka, the giver of boons

సుముఖశ్చైకదంతశ్చ కపిలో గజకర్ణకః |
లంబోదరశ్చ వికటో విఘ్ననాశో వినాయకః ‖ 4 ‖

Salutations to Lord Vinayaka, who has an auspicious face, a single tusk, is golden hued, has ears like an elephant, a potbelly, is colossal, and is the destroyer of obstacles

ధూమ్రకేతుర్గణాధ్యక్షో ఫాలచంద్రో గజాననః |
ద్వాదశైతాని నామాని గణేశస్య తు యః పఠేత్ ‖ 5 ‖

Ganesha, whose flag bears the emblem of a lion, who has a smoke-colored complexion, who is the leader of the ganas, who wears the moon on his forehead, who has an elephant face, and who is also known by these twelve names.

విద్యార్థీ లభతే విద్యాం ధనార్థీ విపులం ధనమ్ |
ఇష్టకామం తు కామార్థీ ధర్మార్థీ మోక్షమక్షయమ్ ‖ 6 ‖

The seeker of knowledge attains knowledge, the seeker of wealth acquires great wealth. One who desires fulfillment of wishes achieves it, and one who seeks righteousness and liberation attains eternal happiness

విధ్యారంభే వివాహే చ ప్రవేశే నిర్గమే తథా |
సంగ్రామే సంకటే చైవ విఘ్నస్తస్య న జాయతే ‖ 7 ‖

In the beginning of education, during marriage, entering or leaving home, during conflict or danger, there will be no obstacles for one who worships Lord Ganesha.

‖ ఇతి ముద్గలపురాణోక్తం శ్రీగణేశద్వాదశనామస్తోత్రం సంపూర్ణమ్ ‖

Thus ends the complete hymn of the twelve names of Lord Ganesha as stated in Mudgalapurana.
