May the dust of the lotus feet of Sri Guru touch my forehead and purify my mind,
and may the blessings of Lord Rama, who bestows auspiciousness and fulfills all desires, be upon me.
Remembering the son of the wind, Pavana Kumar, I pray to him with a mind devoid of intelligence.
May he bestow strength, wisdom, and knowledge and remove all obstacles, afflictions, and impurities.

"Victory to Hanuman, ocean of knowledge and virtue, victory to the king of the monkeys who is awake and aware.

The messenger of Rama, possessing unmatched strength, son of Anjana and the wind god.

Great hero, valiant and powerful, with a mind sharp as a sword and a companion of the wise.

Radiant as gold, with a beautiful appearance, with curly locks and earrings made of forest flowers.

With a thunderbolt in his hand, a flag in his grip, and a sacred thread across his chest.

The son of Shiva, Kesari, and the delight of the universe, with a radiant aura and immense splendor.

A learned and intelligent being, with a great eagerness to do Rama's work.

Whoever listens to his story will experience delight and bliss, and who resides in the heart of Rama and Sita.

Appearing in a tiny form to Sita and a fearsome form in Lanka, destroying the demons in a terrifying form.

Assuming a gigantic form, he destroyed the demons and accomplished Rama's mission.

Rejoicing the heart of Sri Raghuvir (Lord Rama) in great delight.

With a thousand faces and a thousand names,
You manifest yourself in glory and take on the form of Sri Rama's necklace.

Along with the sages Sanaka and the others, Brahma and Shiva,
And the god of death and the lord of wealth and the guardians of the directions,
The poets and scholars, all sing your praises.

You helped Sugriva and made him the king,
And by meeting Rama, you gave him the kingdom.

Vibhishana, your counsel was honored,
And Lanka's lord was known throughout the world.

You are the sun, a thousand yojanas in size,
And the sweetness of the fruit (of devotion) is enjoyed by you.

Your imprint on the seal is on my forehead,
And there is no surprise that you walked across the ocean.

You overcome the impossible tasks in the world,
And your grace makes even the difficult things easy."

Ganesha Kavacham: Story behind writing Ganesha Kavacham:  The origin story of Ganesha Kavacham is not well-documented, and there are several different versions of its origin. However, one popular story goes as follows: Once, the great sage Kashyapa visited the court of King Mandooya, who was a great devotee of Lord Ganesha. Kashyapa noticed that the king was wearing a beautiful garland of lotuses around his neck, and he asked the king where he had obtained it. The king replied that the garland had been given to him by Lord Ganesha himself, and that it was a token of the Lord's grace and protection. Sage Kashyapa was intrigued, and he asked the king to teach him the mantra or prayer that Lord Ganesha had given him. The king replied that it was not a mantra or prayer, but a sacred kavacham, or protective shield, that Lord Ganesha had bestowed upon him. The king then recited the Ganesha Kavacham for Sage Kashyapa, explaining that it was a powerful prayer of protection that would shie
