Story Behind Lakshmi Narasimha Ashtottara Shata Naamavali:

The Narasimha Astottara Shata Namavali is a collection of 108 names of Lord Narasimha, a fierce form of Lord Vishnu, who is depicted as having the body of a man and the head of a lion. The name "Narasimha" is derived from the Sanskrit words "nara" (man) and "simha" (lion), which together mean "man-lion".

According to Hindu mythology, Lord Narasimha appeared on Earth to protect his devotee Prahlada from his demon father, Hiranyakashipu. Hiranyakashipu was a powerful demon who had received a boon from Lord Brahma that made him virtually invincible. He had become arrogant and had started to believe that he was above the gods and could not be defeated by anyone.

Prahlada, Hiranyakashipu's son, was a devotee of Lord Vishnu, which infuriated his father. Hiranyakashipu tried to kill Prahlada multiple times, but each time, Lord Vishnu intervened to save him. Finally, Hiranyakashipu challenged Prahlada to prove the existence of Vishnu and asked him where Vishnu was. Prahlada replied that Vishnu was everywhere, including in the very pillar next to them.

Hiranyakashipu then tried to destroy the pillar with his mace, and as he struck it, Lord Narasimha appeared from the broken pillar in his half-man, half-lion form. Lord Narasimha then killed Hiranyakashipu, thus saving Prahlada.

The Narasimha Astottara Shata Namavali is a way to praise and honor Lord Narasimha and seek his blessings for protection and strength. The 108 names are chanted or recited as a form of devotion and meditation.

Ganesha Kavacham: Story behind writing Ganesha Kavacham:  The origin story of Ganesha Kavacham is not well-documented, and there are several different versions of its origin. However, one popular story goes as follows: Once, the great sage Kashyapa visited the court of King Mandooya, who was a great devotee of Lord Ganesha. Kashyapa noticed that the king was wearing a beautiful garland of lotuses around his neck, and he asked the king where he had obtained it. The king replied that the garland had been given to him by Lord Ganesha himself, and that it was a token of the Lord's grace and protection.
