According to legend, Shri Vadiraja Swami was a devotee of Lord Vishnu and Narasimha, and was known for his deep faith and devotion. One day, he was approached by a poor man who was in debt and facing financial ruin. The man sought the sage's help, but Shri Vadiraja Swami was unable to provide him with any assistance. Feeling helpless and frustrated, the sage went to the temple of Lord Narasimha and prayed for guidance.
